Billy von Kern is a charming and handsome 10 month old German Shepherd mixed with maybe Husky. Billy shared the back of a covered truck with several other shepherds on their way to freedom from the shelter. He has a loveable personality. The volunteer who transported him from Bakersfield nicknamed him "hugger" because when he was loading Billy into the truck for the drive Billy just wanted to wrap his front legs around his arm as if to say "THANK YOU for saving me". We know that when you meet Billy you'll want to wrap your arms around him too!! He has that type of personality that will win you over.
